18-year-old German teenager Andrej Cielsielski is no stranger to adventure. The rooftopping and urban exploring teen has shared tons of amazing photos from Hong Kong and Dubai, exploring the tallest and most daring locations that each city has to offer.
Recently, Cielsielski managed to scale a 146-meter pyramid in Giza, producing photos and video of the illegal climb that are absolutely jaw-dropping. Using his GoPro, he managed to get halfway to the top before being arrested. He was released on the promise that he would delete all of his footage, but managed to retrieve it from the trash after he was home. See images from his incredible flight below.
“Walking around in the complex I was waiting for the right moment to start climbing The Great Pyramid of Giza. When I started climbing a street seller was standing behind me but I didn’t care about him I turned around he laughed and I continued climbing,” he wrote.
It took him about eight minutes to scale to the top, and about 20 minutes to get down -- where he was promptly arrested.
Still though, the view was worth it.
“At the half some people got attention on me and looked up too. That’s how the police spotted me. They shouted something in Arabic I think but I didn’t care and kept going while listening to music.”
See the video footage of his amazing-yet-highly-illegal feat below.
