You've probably had the pleasure of seeing some pretty magnificent and unusual sand castles by now. After all, sand art has gotten increasingly more popular over the years: There are even entire festivals dedicated to it.
But you've probably never seen sand art like this.
That's because this sand art, made by Constanza Nightingale, is not your average build-and-mold sand castle. These works of art are 3-D, but only by illusion.
He uses different shades of sand to create the illusion, as seen here.
This 3-D plane even has it's own shadow, which is pretty spectacular.
We had to look twice at this one, which could easily be real.
The illusion that Nightingale creates is amazing, and it's also unlike anything we've seen before.
Can you imagine how long it must have taken to create some of these images?
This one is a personal favorite, as the tunnel looks like it's headed out to sea.
