In yet another incredible housing transformation, one Czech man has transformed his old van into a fascinating, cozy little home.
DIpa Vasudeva Das has turned a cargo van into a small cabin on wheels that packs a lot of punch. He calls it the "Earthship." The finishes on the home are incredible, and from the inside, it's truly hard to believe that there's a van on the outside. Take a look at some of the photos of this fascinating hippy hideaway below.
And before the creator got his hands on it, that's truly all it was.
However, with a lot of elbow grease, he was able to transform the van into something else entirely.
Here are some photos of the transformation in progress. Clearly, those ugly van seats had to go.
He also had to build up the walls for insulation.
Das surrounded the entirety of the interior in wood.
When he was finished, he had a warm, cozy blank canvas to work with.
He included custom cabinetry inside as well.
The built-in shelves make up one side of the van that serves as a cute little kitchen.
He even added some surprising touches to the home.
These drawers open to the outside and provide a lot of storage.
And Das can use these awesome wooden doors as a window to the outside as well.
An extra panel in the rear provides some extra space as well.
And of course, more storage.
The main living area looks incredibly comfortable and warm.
Who wouldn't want to while away the hours, lounging on these pillows.
The low table is a perfect place to sip a cup of afternoon tea.
A surprising number of people - and a dog - can fit inside the tiny home.
At night, Das can convert the space into an area that's comfortable for sleeping.
And underneath the floorboards there are more secret storage compartments.
Das keeps warm with this efficient little stove.
It even has an exhaust pipe to keep the fumes and smoke headed outside.
Overall, this cargo van has turned into quite the one-man home.
In fact, the tiny home is so amazing, it's hard to believe where it started.
