They Say This Is The Most Beautiful Street In The World. One Walk Down It And I Agree.

The street is basically a tunnel of trees that casts a beautiful, forest-light atmosphere for blocks.

People on the internet call Rua Goncalo de Carvalho the “most beautiful street in the world,” and you’ll soon understand why. It is a street in Porto Alegre, the capital city of the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. What you’ll notice about the street isn’t related to the street at all. In fact, what you will notice is the massive amount of trees.

Each side of the street is lined with trees, some as tall as the 7th floors in adjacent buildings.

Over 100 trees have been planted along this street. Now, people are so fond of the trees that groups are working to preserve this street’s natural beauty.

It was so uniquely pretty that it’s now known as the most beautiful street in the world.

According to some of the locals, the trees were originally planted in the 1930s by German employees in the neighborhood. I want to thank whoever originally planted these trees, though, because they are absolutely gorgeous.

I wish more cities protected their trees instead of tearing them down. I hope you share the most beautiful street in the world with others.
